Moles
What is a Mole? Moles are tiny little mammals, with elongated, sensitive noses and greatly enlarged front feet, often with huge claws on them. They are not rodents. Moles are generally meat eaters, feeding on earthworms and sometimes insects.
Why are they a problem? In loose soil, moles can tunnel through the soil at a rate of 16 feet per hour in search of food. These tunnels are destructive to our yards and are a huge eye sore.
Controlling moles can be very difficult. Since they rarely feed on plant materials they are unlikely to accept poison baits that are offered to them, as we do for gophers. So, we have to take other steps in our effort to remove moles from our yard. Contact our office for a free estimate to rid your yard of moles today.
